Medical & Allied Health Sciences Seminar for Secondary Students and Parents’ in Sabah
Allianze University College of Medical Sciences in collaboration with Jabatan Pendidikan Sabah has successfully organized Medical & Allied Health Sciences Seminar for Secondary Students and Parents’ at several districts in Sabah including Kunak, Tawau and Sandakan
On Tuesday, 9/20/2011, we were at Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Kunak Jaya in the District of Kunak. Meanwhile on Friday and Saturday the team were in Sandakan District conducting career talks at several schools around Sandakan. On Saturday, the seminar was held at Institut Latihan Perindustrian (ILP) Sandakan. Among the invited audience were the students from several nearby schools. Close collaborations and support from the schools has enabled this seminar to be conducted with much ease and success.
Apart from the seminar, the team also conducted open interviews on Wednesday at Hotel Promenade, Tawau. The local community has a chance to meet with AUCMS representatives and get consultation on education opportunities available in medical and allied health sciences in this university.
