‘Putra Villa Nite Live'
Music is one of the most universal human needs, says John L. Mursell, a professor from Lawrence College, Wisconsin. Almost everyone we know listen to some kind of music. Then there are a selected few of us who are born to create music. It is almost impossible to deny the need to create, listen and enjoy music no matter who you are. Here, at Allianze University College of Medical Sciences we strive to provide the opportunity for our young generation to acquire the right skills and knowledge in music and performing art. We simply believe that there are among our youngsters who are in needs of guidance to nurture that urge and talent to create great music.
{AF}In the spirit of “we educate, entertain and inspire” the Faculty of Medical Hospitality, Tourism and Performing Arts and Performing Arts Club of Allianze University of Medical Sciences recently organized a musical event called ‘Putra Villa Nite Live'. The purpose is to provide a healthy avenue for our students to hone their musical and performing art prowess. The event was held on Wednesday 21st Dec 2011 at Club House Putra Villa. The President and Vice Chancellor of AUCMS were present as guests of honor. The Dean of FMHTPA Dato’ Wah Idris joined by other senior management were present to welcome the guest of honor and to give support to the performers.{/AF}
The audiences were entertained by a wide range of song and dance performances all through the night. The performance ended at about 11pm with everyone feeling thoroughly entertained. It is hoped that such event have contributed to the development of their aesthetic awareness and improve appreciation of musical and performing art.
