The education expo was concluded with 15 education institutions showcasing their course offerings to 812 registered visitors which comprised of students, teachers and parents. Thailand was one of the most challenging venues despite the ‘positive’ statistics of Thai students in Malaysia. As such the organizer has prepared a comprehensive marketing strategy to attract the students. Part of the strategy is to meet students in advance to counsel interested students and parents about Education in Malaysia. In addition the organizer has collected a database of students before the event and conducts our “Friend for Friend” campaign – to attract more students to the event. School visits, free bookmarks and various other activities were conducted prior to this expo.
The AUCMS team acquired valuable experience in understanding the Thailand education needs and requirements. Hopefully, the experience will open up more opportunities for our university to be the preferred university of Thailand students.
