AUCMS Photography and Multimedia Club

The AUCMS Photography Club was formed early this year to encourage students and young staff to take up photography as a hobby. This club is also a platform for novice photographer to hon their skills and talent. There are several activities plans by the advisors and club members to promote the interaction within the members, campus community as well as the public around Kepala Batas.
During club activities, members were given opportunity to document all shots taken. The documented shots will be used for future reference, education or discussion purpose. Members will be taking photos of an event organized by AUCMS, another club, class, or other third party organizers. Special purchase for hard copy of photos can be requested from the club with minimal charges for production of the photos. All earnings will be directed to the club fund.
There are a lot of benefits in joining the photography club. Special photographic outing is one of the main benefits of photography club. Such educational outings can be lead by lecturers or invited professionals. Nature Outing such as to Zoos and Parks will expose the club members to the knowledge needed to take successful wild life photos. Members are encouraged to share and discuss the photo shots taken during these outing sessions. Apart from the landscape and special sceneries, members also learn various techniques using different photo gear.
The activities are hoped to be able to increase member’s skills and allow them to have better understanding on their gear. Most importantly members get to spend their free time doing productive and enjoyable activities.{/AF}.
