1st Continuing Medical Education 2011.
On Tuesday, we welcomed our honorable guest speaker from All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi, India Prof. Dr. Nihar Ranjan Biswas, Professor of Pharmacology to AUCMS Campus. Prof. Biswas is on campus by invitation from the Faculty of Medicine, AUCMS. The lecture is organized by Continuing Medical Education committee. Prof. Biswas presented two lectures entitled ‘Vigilance on Pharmacology Product” and “Recent Advances in Cancer Chemotherapy” to students and staff of AUCMS at Datuk Dr. Ahmad Tajuddin Auditorium. Present today among the audience is President of AUCMS, Dato’ Dr. Zainuddin Md Wazir and Dean of Medical Faculty AUCMS, Dr. Badrul Akmal Hisham..
Prof. Dr. Nihar Ranjana Biswas is a physician by profession and clinical pharmacologist by specialization. Initially he was practicing as family physician after his graduation in medicine in 1983 and later he did his post graduate degrees likes MD in Pharmacology, DM in Clinical Pharmacology and Diplomate of National Board in Pharmacology from India. He joined famous R.P.Center of Ophthalmology in All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi in 1992.

During past twenty years, he is teaching Pharmacology in UG and PG programmes which includes teaching Pharmacology and Clinical Pharmacology to MBBS, MD, DM, Msc, Ph D, Physiotherapy, Respiratory therapy, Nursing and B.Sc(Hons.) Ophthalmic technique students. He is also representing BP Khoiral Institute of Health Sciences and All India Institute of Public Health & Hygiene, Kolkata, India.
