AUCMS at Sekolah Menengah La Salle, Tanjung Aru, Kota Kinabalu
It was such an honor for us today to be invited by the Principal of Sekolah Menengah La Salle, Kota Kinabalu to visit the school. The Principal Puan Julia Willie Jock was kind enough to receive us at her office early in the morning when we arrived. A short aquintence with the principal offers a glimpse into the workings and makings of LaSallian (as they call themselves) Being an 'all boys' school in a big city of Kota Kinabalu, the La Sallians were raised to believe that all La Sallian have something more!We applaud the principal for not only being awarded Pengetua Cemerlang but also for making sure the true spirit of La Salle lives within the members of the school.
We were given an opportunity to talk to Form 4 and Form 6 students about Allianze University College of Medical Sciences and what the university college could offer to students who are keen in pursuing their studies in medicine and health sciences. All the boys and a few girls from Form 6 classes were very enthusiastic and energetic as they listen to the talk given by Puan Izan Ismail. Many were keen to explore more on the prospects of pursuing a career in Nursing and some boys though shy but courageous enough to ask what is install for them if they choose to be a male nurse in the future.
The visit today was made possible thanks to the hardwork of the school counsellor, Puan Nursuhaili bt. Baharuddin.
