New Intake Student Registration of Foundation in Medical Studies Program
Last week there was a new intake registration for Foundation in Medical Studies program at Allianze University College of Medical Sciences, Waziria Medical Square Campus. Almost 100 students were enrolled in this intake.The Allianze University of Medical Sciences (AUCMS) has been offering the Foundation in Medical Studies program since the year 2005. The program was initially known as Certificate in Pre-Medical Studies. Since the beginning, Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA) has been sponsoring selected SPM students to undergo their preparatory medical studies in this program. In 2010, the Department of Public Service or Jabatan Perkhidmatan Awam (JPA) started to offer sponsorships for SPM top achievers to study in the Foundation in Medical Studies at AUCMS. This year, more than 50 students enrolled in the program have received sponsorships from either MARA or JPA to pursue their pre-medical studies at AUCMS. The program has been fully accredited by the Malaysian Qualification Agency (MQA) since 2008.
For those SPM holders who are interested to pursue careers in the healthcare industry, it is not too late to apply now. For those who are interested to pursue diploma programs, the next intake will be on 13th July 2011.
